Welcome to the Yes Yes Advice Column. The sun is coming out after the rain in Northern Michigan. Brenin finished putting a window in the garden shed to turn it into a little studio and June is getting her recall down while we walk around the meadow. She makes a little spot for herself in the dirt next to the house so she can bake in the sun.

I feel grateful to see my little projects springing into the world. This week Common Shapes debuted at #15 on the Apple Podcast Arts Chart and I have received so many kind messages from listeners.

Today’s advice column is about love (as it usually is), what to do when you have so many ideas swirling around but think the internet is at capacity, and can we really run a business without social media?

The Yes Yes Advice Column is also available for your listening pleasure, scroll to the bottom to listen. Today I cover :

🧦 HOW TO STOP HATING OURSELVES FOR THINGS WE WISH WE HAD DONE DIFFERENTLY?

👛 CAN WE RUN A BUSINESS WITHOUT SOCIAL MEDIA?

🩰 COMPARING OURSELVES TO OTHER PEOPLE AND NOT HITTING SEND : HOW DO WE GET THROUGH THIS?

Want more guidance beyond the column? Next weekend I am teaching The Art of Beginning live on zoom Sunday May 28 and I would love to see you there xo

Dear Mar, How do I stop loving my ex?

How do I accept things as they are? How do I stop hating myself for the things I wish I'd done differently?
